    UOB Personal Line of Credit

UOB, one of Singapore’s largest banks, offers a personal line of credit product called CashPlus. CashPlus enables you to get seamless and immediate access to funds. By successfully applying for the UOB personal line of credit product, you can access cash through ATMs or through cheques.

The most advantageous feature of the personal line of credit is that you will need to pay interest only for the amount you use, on a monthly basis. The principal amount can be repaid at a later time, at your convenience (depending on the tenure you choose; tenures can stretch up to a period of 60 months). Just like how you make minimum payments on your credit card, you’ll have to make monthly payments against you’re the amount used on your personal line of credit by the due date. Let’s take a look at some notable features of the UOB Personal Line of Credit.

Features of the UOB Personal Line of Credit

CashPlus comes with some really exciting features! Let’s check them out:

    • You can get an amount approved that is equivalent to 6 times your monthly income. If your monthly income is greater than S$10,000, you can get up to 6 times your monthly income and if your income is above S$2,500 (less than S$10,000) a month, you can get 4 times your monthly income as your line of credit.
    • You can get easy access to cash from ATMs or by writing a cheque.
    • You can keep a tab on all transactions you make and make repayments in a simple manner through internet banking.
    • You can also apply for the UOB CashPlus Visa Card that comes with its own benefits including cash rebates of 1.5% on all transactions and the opportunity to earn SMART$ rebates at over 400 participating merchants in Singapore.
    • While opting for UOB CashPlus, you can opt for a fixed repayment or a flexible repayment option. With the flexible repayment option, interest rates can be as low as 2.5%. Fixed repayments give you the option of choosing tenures that stretch up to 60 months.
    • The interest rates enjoyed on the personal line of credit is much less in comparison to interest on credit cards.
