Here are some of the cases that are not covered by this insurance plan:

  • Treatment for any mental, nervous or emotional disorders will not be covered in this policy.
  • No reimbursement shall be provided if an accidental injury leads to a termination of the maid’s services.
  • Any injury arising out of deliberate actions or reckless behaviour.
  • Pre-existing medical conditions will not be covered by this policy.
  • Any cases arising out of acts of war or terrorism.

How Do I Cancel This Plan? 

You can choose to cancel this plan within 14 days of the commencement date.  You can inform the company about the cancellation by writing to them. You are entitled to receive a refund of the premium paid for that period, with a minimum charge of S$50.

A. Yes, you can increase the insurance cover for your maid. This policy allows you to purchase an optional cover, at a slightly higher premium rate.

Q. What if my maid gets hospitalised?

A. If your maid is hospitalised, you are entitled to a daily pay-out for a period not exceeding 30 days.

Q. What happens if my maid quits due to illness or I terminate the employment?

A. In case of termination of maid services due to illness or accident, you are entitled to a reimbursement of the agency fees required to hire a new maid. This reimbursement is capped at S$500. The replacement maid should be employed within 90 days of the termination of the previous maid.

Q. Are my maid’s personal belongings covered under this policy?

A. Yes, your maid’s personal belongings are covered to an extent of S$300.

Q. What documents do I need while making a claim?
