    Earning Cash Rebate

    • Get 2% cash rebate offered on this card for every S$1 you spend. There is no minimum spend criteria.
    • Payments to charities, religious organisations or for government services will not earn you this rebate.
    • Rebates earned are calculated on a monthly basis and credited to the account of the principal cardholder on the first working day of every subsequent month.
    • Cash rebates on all spends are capped at S$50 each month.

    Activating the card for overseas expenses

    The magnetic stripe of this card has to be activated for overseas retail transactions.

    Activate the magnetic stripe by performing one of the following operations:

    • Fill out an online form on the bank’s website.
    • Visit your nearest UOB branch to complete the process.
    • Visit the nearest ATM to activate your card.
    • Download the magnetic stripe activation form from the bank’s website, fill it out, and mail the completed form to the Robinson Road branch of the bank.
    • Call UOB’s 24-hour hotline.

    Note: Disable the magnetic stripe on your card on returning to Singapore for security reasons.

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    • SmartPay, UOB’s instalment payment plan, ensures that your bills are always affordable.
    • Convert big-ticket purchases to smaller amounts at 0% interest.
    • Opt in for this plan only if your purchase value is S$500 or more.
    • Choose tenures ranging from 3 months to 12 months.
    • A low one-time processing fee will be charged if you opt for the plan.
    • The effective interest rate (EIR) depends on your chosen tenure. It is:
      • 18.18% p.a. for a 3-month plan.
      • 10.43% p.a. for a 6-month plan.
      • 9.5% p.a. for a 12-month plan.
    • Up to five transactions can be combined under a single instalment plan.

    Cash Withdrawal on the Credit Card

    • Up to 75% of the available credit limit on your card can be withdrawn using your card.
    • The minimum daily cash withdrawal limit on your card is S$200.
    • The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit from any UOB ATM is S$3,000.

    Lost/Stolen cards

    • Notify UOB immediately by calling their hotline.
    • File a police report and submit a copy of it to the bank, if asked for.
    • Submit a statutory declaration or any other document/s asked for by the bank.

    Your liability for unauthorised transactions made on your card will be limited to S$100 provided:

    • You have cooperated with the bank through its investigation.
    • It has been established that you weren’t involved in the fraud.
    • It has been established that you weren’t grossly negligent.

    If proven otherwise, you may be held liable for all the unauthorised transactions made on your card. Legal proceedings may also be initiated by the bank.
