UOB terms the UOB One Card as “the most generous rebate card”. While this may seem contentious, we definitely won’t argue with the fact that it does give you a wide range of rewards. You are eligible to get rebates of up to 5% on all transactions, to get up to 3.88% interest per annum on your UOB One Account, and to get SMART$ rebates as well. Apart from this, the card also gives you welcome offers from time to time when you apply for it and your application gets approved. You can also have access to about a million S$1 deals across various categories where you can save money. These deals vary from time to time. This credit card gives you ways to save money on your fuel expenses, allows you to travel in peace when you go on holiday or on a business trip, and also opens up a world of offers on dining, hotel stays, and shopping. Want to know where to eat your next meal? Make use of the Dining Advisor facility to get the latest reviews of the newest places in town.

What if we were to tell you that you can get rewards on almost every purchase you make? That exactly what this card gives you at rates of up to 5% as rebates on your transactions. The maximum rebate rate of 5% will be given only if you spend at least S$2,000 every month per quarter with through at least 5 transactions every month. This way you can earn S$300 in rebates every quarter. If you spend only S$500 or S$1,000 every month for each quarter in a minimum of 5 transactions, you will get a rebate rate of 3.33%. This will help you get S$50 and S$100 as rebates for the spends of S$500 and S$1,000 respectively.
You can earn this rate of interest (3.88%) by depositing S$75,000 into the UOB One Account. The other criteria that are required for you to get this interest rate include spending 500 Singapore dollars on the UOB One Card and also crediting your salary to this account or performing a minimum of 3 GIRO transactions each month.
The UOB SMART$ rebate programme gives you additional rebates up to 10 % SMART$ when you make various transactions. You can accumulate these SMART$ and redeem them on your very next purchase or future purchases to get discounts on your purchase bills. For example, you can get 3% rebates at BreadTalk, 7% rebates at Shell, and 10% rebates at City Tours.
Do you want to get your hands on some free cash credit? As ridiculous as that sounds, that exactly what you get with this card. When you apply for it and the bank approves your application, you get a cash credit of 150 Singapore dollars (S$100 for the card + S$50 for a UOB One Account) as a welcome gift. This offer is available only to the first 200 new applicants whose applications get approved. Additionally, these qualifying applicants must also spend at least S$1,000 within one month of the card getting approved. This welcome offer is available only till 23 January 2019.
