    Earn Rewards

    You can redeem your SMART$ rebates at participating merchant outlets such as BreadTalk, Hard Rock Café, City Tours, bYSI, ColorWash, and others. These rebates can be used to offset your transactions at these stores.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Use

    The magnetic stripe on the back of your credit card can be easily copied and read. Hence, it remains inactive for foreign use to prevent fraudulent transactions. Once you activate the stripe, your card will be ready to be used overseas. You can enable the magnetic stripe through the following ways:

    • Call the 24-hour hotline.
    • Go to the closest UOB ATM.
    • Visit any of the branches to activate your card.
    • Download the activation form and mail it to the bank.
    • Go to the bank’s website and click on ‘Overseas Card Use’, fill up the details, and submit.

    You can follow the same steps to deactivate the stripe on your card once you return to Singapore.

    Instalment Payment Plans

    Convert your big-ticket purchases of at least S$500 into interest-free, flexible, and affordable instalment payments with UOB’s SmartPay plan. Spread out your payments over 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. You can apply for this plan by logging to your personal internet banking account, submitting an online form or sending an SMS.

  • Cash Withdrawal on UOB Delight Card

    • Withdraw cash at any bank branch in Singapore.
    • Transfer cash from your card to any account through personal internet banking.
    • Withdraw cash from any UOB ATMs in Singapore and Cirrus/UOB/PLUS ATM when overseas.
    • The withdrawal amount is limited to 75% of your available credit limit.
    • The minimum and maximum amount that can be withdrawn per day is S$200 and S$3,000, respectively.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    • You must notify the bank immediately by calling the customer support hotline.
    • File a report with the police and submit the same to the bank.
    • The bank will immediately block your card in case it is lost/stolen/misused.
    • In case of fraudulent activities, your liability towards the bank is capped at S$100.
    • You must also prove to the bank that the theft/loss/misuse was not a result of your negligence or involvement.

    How Much is the Minimum Payment to Be Made on the Card

    3% of the pending amount or S$50

    You must pay either 3% of the pending amount or S$50, whichever is more. Additionally, you must also pay other dues from previous bills. If you have used more than your credit limit, you must pay the charge for it.

    What Is the Grace Period?

    21 Days

    The grace period where you do not have to pay interest on transactions is 21 days. However, this is applicable only if you have paid your previous balance fully.
