Citi Cash Back Credit Card Review

Citi Cash Back Credit Card rated as one of the best cashback credit cards in Singapore right now, it rewards you highly for your credit card spends. Currently this card has a promotional offer running in conjunction with Grab taxi. If you apply for the card before 6th April, 2018, you will get a cashback of S$120 plus 7 free rides with Grab.

For regular rewards, you have 8% cashback on groceries, petrol purchases, Grab rides and dining both in Singapore and overseas. Grab rides until 6th July, 2017, will get you a whopping 20% cashback. Additionally, your fuel purchases at Esso and Shell will give you a rebate of up to 20.88%. Esso and Shell give you 5% Esso/Shell concession, 5% Smiles/Shell Escape concession if you are a programme member, 4% Citibank concession, and an extra 8% Citibank Cash Back Card concession on the net amount. All other transactions will earn you 0.25% cashback.

However, you need to spend at least S$888 per month to get the additional cashback, or you will be able to earn only 0.25% cashback in all categories. And even if you qualify for the additional cashback, you cannot earn more than S$25 as cashback per category.

The best part is that this card gives you free travel insurance of up to S$1 million – a perk that is usually only available to travel credit cards. Of course, the Citibank privileges such as Citibank Gourmet Pleasures, Citi Rebates, and global discounts on dining, shopping and travel, add to the beauty of the card.
