    The maximum amount of cash back you can accumulate every month is limited to S$25 for each category of spend. The card also features a 20% cash back on selected spends every now and then. There is no cap how much cash back you can accumulate on such retail spends.

    Earning Rewards

    • You will get 8% cash back on dining, groceries, Grab rides, and petrol by spending a minimum of S$888 per calendar month.
    • On meeting the minimum retail spend of S$888 in a calendar month, you will receive 0.25% cash back in that month and the additional 7.75% (on dining, groceries, petrol and Grab rides) will be credited in the next calendar month. Failing to meet the minimum spend will earn you 0.25% cash back on all spends.
    • For all other retail spends you will get 0.25% cash back. There is no cap for this cash back.
    • The cash back is capped at S$25 per category.

    Note: The actual cash back percentage on dining spends amounts to S$31. However, due to the cash back cap of S$25 per category, you have earned the maximum cash back on this category in this case.

    According to the above table, you will get S$2.25 as a base cash back amount in the same month. The additional cash back amount of S$56 will be credited to your account in the following month.

    Who All Will Be Covered By the Insurance?

    The Citi Cash Back Card offers complimentary travel insurance which covers the cardholder, spouse (who must also be a Citi card member), and dependent children. This insurance is underwritten by AIG Travel Insurance. In order to be eligible for it, you must buy your travel tickets using your credit card and also activate this insurance before your travel begins.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    Yes, you must activate your Citi Cash Back Card for overseas usage. You can activate your card by sending an SMS from your registered mobile number. You can also activate this facility through other channels such as Phone Banking, Citi Mobile, and Citibank Online.

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    Citi has offers the Citibank Equal Payment Plan and Citibank Paywise as instalment payment plans.

    The following are the benefits of the Equal Payment Plan:

    • You can enjoy 0% interest on this instalment plan. There will be no additional charges if you pay through this plan.
    • This 0% instalment payment plan is available at more than 1,000 partners.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    If you lose your card or if it’s stolen, you must immediately notify the bank. You must file a police complaint about this incident and provide the police report to the bank. You will also be asked to provide supporting documents to verify your innocence with respect to the lost/stolen card. In case of unauthorised transactions you will be liable to pay a maximum of S$100 if:

    • You notify the bank at the earliest.
    • It is proved that you are not involved in this loss in any manner.
    • You cooperate with the bank during investigations.
    • It is proven that you were not negligent about the card.
