    Earning Rewards

    • Earn 3 reward points per S$1 spent on all eligible overseas transactions and 1 reward point per S$1 spent on eligible transactions locally.
    • The reward points are valid for a period of one year from the date of card activation.
    • The reward points earned will be reflected in your account statement, after being rounded off to the nearest whole number.

    Redeeming your Earned Rewards

    • Exchange the reward points earned for reward vouchers.
    • The reward vouchers can be redeemed for specific items from the bank’s online Rewards Catalogue. The vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date they are issued.
    • Cash rebates earned can also be used to redeem rewards.
    • The reward points earned can also be converted to KrisFlyer miles under the Frequent Flyer Miles Programme.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    • The magnetic stripe of your card is kept in a deactivated state by default in order to prevent data misuse.

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    • Split a large-ticket purchase into the Flexi-Balance Instalment Plan, an instalment payment plan offered by the bank.
    • Make your purchase more affordable by using this plan.
    • Enjoy a 0% interest and a one-time low processing fee.
    • 0% interest will apply only if you make timely payments at the end of every month.
    • This plan can be used for both local and overseas spends.
    • The various tenures available include 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 18 months, 2 years, and 3 years.
    • The value of your purchase can’t be less than S$500 if you want to opt for this plan.
    • Pay an administrative charge of S$100 if you want to prepay the purchase or terminate the plan.

      • BOC ATMs in Singapore or Plus/Cirrus ATMs abroad

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    • Immediately report the incident to the bank by calling it’s hotline number.
    • Lodge a written complaint with the police and handover a copy of the same to the bank, if asked for.
    • Fill out a statutory form in the format prescribed by the bank, if asked for. Confirm the incident and provide all the related information to help the bank with its investigation.
    • The maximum liability imposed for any unauthorised use of your card will be limited to S$100, provided:
      • You weren’t proven to be grossly negligent.
      • You weren’t proven to be complicit in the fraud.
      • You have pledged to help the bank track the card or recover the losses occurring from the misuse of the card.

    How to Enable/Disable Auto Debit & Standing Instructions

    Through Online Banking

    Use BOC’s online banking facility and enable/disable auto-debit of payments in the following ways:

    • Choose ‘Bill Payment’ and then ‘Bill Payee Management’.
    • Choose the billing organisation and then enter the bill reference number.
    • Choose between payment of the entire amount or only the minimum repayment amount.

    Go to ‘Scheduled Bill Management’ to cancel this facility.

    How to Apply for the Card & Check the Application Status

    • To apply you need to complete the credit card application form and send it with the relevant documents to the bank via mail or fax.
    • Call the service hotline of BOC to check the status of your application. Usually the processing of an application takes 14 working days.

    BOC's internet banking facility and mobile application allows you to check your balance conveniently.

    How Can the Bill Be Paid?

    How Much Is the Minimum Payment to Be Made on the Card?

    The minimum payment is 3% of the statement balance or S$50, whichever is higher. You also must pay any outstanding dues from previous bills, if any.

    What Is the Grace Period?

    23 Days

    If you have no pending dues, you will get an interest-free period of 23 days from the date of generation of the statement.

    How to Block or Unblock the Card?

    Call Customer Service

    In case of loss of theft of your card, block your card by calling the customer service hotline. Follow the same procedure to unblock your card.

    How to Reset the PIN?

    Through Tele-Banking

    Resetting the PIN can be done through the bank’s tele-banking service. However, in order to enjoy this service, you first need to sign up for it.

    What Is the Billing Cycle and the Bill Due Date?

    The billing cycle refers to the time between the generation of two successive statements. The due date of the bill will be mentioned on your monthly statement.

    How to Get a Replacement Card?
