These cards cater to shopping, travel, fuel and grocery needs and offers benefits ranging from cashback to air miles. The credit cards that cater to grocery shopping are UOB One Card and the UOB Delight Card.

    Features and benefits of the UOB Grocery Credit Cards

    • UOB One Card: The card offers rebates on all expenses charged to the card. If you charge either S$500, S$1,000, or S$2,000 per month for all three months in a calendar quarter and carry out a minimum of 5 transactions each month, you can get S$50, S$100, or S$300 cash rebate respectively.
    • UOB Delight Card: This card gives you an 8% rebate on purchases made at Cold Storage, Giant and Guardian, Market Place, or Jasons. The card also gives you 10% off on over 4,000 house brands at Cold Storage and Giant and Guardian.

    Interest Rates on UOB Grocery Credit Cards

    The Grocery Credit Cards offered by UOB charge an interest rate of 25.90% p.a. with a minimum interest rate amounting to S$3 being charged. The interest rates are applicable only when the outstanding payments have not been paid in full. The card requires a minimum payment of 3% of the outstanding balance or S$50.

    Late or missed minimum due payments will result in a penalty interest rate of 3% in addition to the prevailing interest rate. The prevailing rate of interest will be reinstated when you pay all outstanding missed payments on or before the next statement due date.

    Interest charges Interest charged on card transactions is 25.90% p.a. with a minimum charge levied of S$2.50 being levied.
    Cash advance fee Fee is the higher of either 6% of the amount withdrawn or S$15.
    Interest on cash advance Interest charged on card transactions is 28% p.a.
    Late payment fee The late payment fee charged is S$60
    Minimum monthly due 3% of outstanding amount or S$50, whichever of the two is higher
    Lost or stolen card liability A maximum fee of S$100 is charged.

    Eligibility Criteria for UOB Grocery Credit Cards

    • Applicants who are Singaporean citizens, Permanent residents, or foreigners are eligible to apply for this card.
    • The minimum annual income required to be eligible for the cards for Singaporean citizens and Permanent Residents is S$30,000.
    • The minimum annual income required to be eligible for the cards for foreigners is S$40,000
    • Applicants can also use a Fixed Deposit worth S$10,000 or more as collateral when applying for this card.

    Documents Required for UOB Grocery Credit Card

    Salaried applicants are required to submit the following documents:

    • A copy of their NRIC, both front and back.
    • A copy of their most recent computerised payslip dating back 3 months
    • A copy of their latest Income Tax NOA (Notice of Assessment) dating back 12 months along with the most recent computerised payslip dating back one month.
    • A copy of their latest CPF Contribution History statement dating back at least 6 months

    Self-employed applicants are required to submit the following documents:

    • A copy of their NRIC, both front and back.
    • A copy of their latest Income Tax NOA (Notice of Assessment) dating back at least 2 years.

    Commission-based employees are required to submit the following documents:

    • A copy of their NRIC, both front and back.
    • A copy of their latest Income Tax NOA (Notice of Assessment) dating back 12 months along with the most recent computerised payslip dating back one month.

    Foreign applicants are required to submit the following documents:

    • A copy of their valid passport.
    • A copy of their Employment Pass which has at least 6 months of validity at the time of application.
    • A copy of their utility bill to serve as address proof.

    Supplementary credit card applicants are required to provide a copy of their NRIC, both front and back or a copy of their valid Passport.

    How to apply for a UOB Grocery Credit Card

    You can apply for the UOB grocery credit cards by visiting the UOB official website, navigating to the page of the desired card and clicking on apply. You have the option of completing and uploading the form on the website and even upload the required supporting documents. You can also apply for the desired UOB credit card by visiting our nearest branch.

    How to cancel UOB Grocery Credit Cards

    If you wish to cancel your UOB grocery credit cards then you need to write in to UOB stating your wish to cancel the cards along with your reasons. Once the card has been confirmed as cancelled, you should preferably return your credit card cut up in two halves. Cancelling the primary credit card will automatically render the supplementary card as cancelled. You should ensure you have no outstanding balances on the card before you cancel it.
