The IRAS PIN consists of an 8-digit alphanumeric PIN that is issued by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). It is issued to individual taxpayers who can use this PIN to access the IRAS e-Services portal including myTax Portal and EASY (e-Services Authorisation System).
An IRAS PIN is issued to individuals who do not qualify to obtain a SingPass. You can request for an IRAS PIN online on the IRAS website. Foreigners who do not have a tax reference number can also apply for an IRAS PIN by downloading the form and sending the completed form to the IRAS.
After you have requested for an IRAS PIN, the same will be sent to your residential address within a period of 4 business days. If you have provided a foreign address, the mail may take 2 to 4 weeks to reach your address.
After the IRAS has issued you with an IRAS PIN, you have 60 days to log into your account. After you have logged in successfully for the first time, you will be requested to change your PIN to a permanent one.

If you have forgotten your IRAS PIN or it has been revoked, you can apply for a new IRAS PIN through the above-mentioned process. Your new PIN will be sent to your residential address within 4 business days. Your PIN will lapse if you do not login within 60 days of receiving your IRAS PIN.
In case of issuance or re-issuance of IRAS PIN, you will be requested to change your PIN immediately after your first login. However, for subsequent changes to your IRAS password, you will have to visit myTax Portal or EASY website and click on "Changing IRAS PIN". This option can be found on the left-hand menu after logging into myTax Portal or EASY website.
