Samsung Pay is widely accepted by American Express, Citi, DBS, POSB, OCBC Bank, Maybank, Standard Chartered Bank, and UOB. This mobile wallet can also be used with network partners like Mastercard and Visa.
MST terminals accept payments of any value, based on the credit limit, while most NFC terminals require you to make payments of up to S$100.
Now, you can pay off 10 of your latest purchases made in 30 days with Citi Points/Miles. Simply, open the app and click on ‘Çiti Pay with Points’ followed by ‘Redeem Now’. You must know that 400 points are equal to S$1 and 135 miles are equal to a dollar.
If you have a Samsung phone, you can authorise payments using the iris scanner, fingerprint scanner, and PIN authentication. Other phone models can authenticate a payment using fingerprint scanner and PIN authentication.
In addition, with every transaction on Samsung Pay, you earn 10 Samsung Rewards Points. You can use these points to redeem your choice of gift vouchers from the catalogue or win prizes via in-app games like Flip-a-Card or Spin-the-Wheel. If you make between 31 and 50 transactions, you can earn 30 Rewards Points.
These Rewards Points are valid for 6 months. Moreover, you can add your membership and loyalty cards to Samsung Pay. You can even use this mobile wallet to manage your EZ-Link information on your phone. Just add your EZ-Link NFC SIM to view your transaction details and balance.
To claim the offer, you must enrol your Maybank credit or debit card on Samsung Pay and fulfil the minimum spend requirement. Retail purchases must be made on a terminal that accepts Mastercard PayPass, Visa payWave, or Magnetic Secure Transmission.
The rebate is awarded on a first come first serve basis and is not eligible to be awarded for 0% Instalment Plan transactions, bill payments, income tax payments, and fees and charges.
