SINGAPORE: OCBC Bank has decided to waive off the admin fee charged on conversion of VOYAGE Miles into KrisFlyer Miles. A fee of S$25 was charged for such conversion earlier.
The OCBC Voyage Card has been designed for travellers looking to earn miles on their local and overseas spending. You can earn 2.3 VOYAGE Miles for every S$1 spent overseas, 1.6 VOYAGE Miles per S$1 spent on local dining, and 1.2 VOYAGE Miles for every S$1 spent on local shopping. These miles can be converted into KrisFlyer Miles at a rate of 1:1. However, you can also use your VOYAGE Miles to redeem for flight tickets directly without first converting them into KrisFlyer Miles.
The card, which was the first metal card made for masses in Singapore, allows you to redeem your miles on any day and on any airline. OCBC VOYAGE comes with three annual fee plans, with each plan offering complimentary miles:
There is a cap on the number of miles you can earn in a month, which stands at 230,000 currently. However, your VOYAGE miles don’t expire.
