How to Make a Claim 

In order to make a claim under this policy, you have to submit the completed claims form within 30 days of the incident. Here are the steps for making a claim:

  • Visit the website and take a print out of the foreign maid claim form.

  • You can submit the completed form at an NTUC branch, to your insurance broker, by email, or by post.

Usually, your claims will be settled within 10 working days.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You can cancel this policy plan whenever you want, by sending a registered letter to NTUC stating the same. Depending on the policy duration and plan that you choose to go with, you are entitled to a certain amount of refund. No refund is available if you have made a claim in that duration.

Q. How can I make a premium payment?

A. Your premium payment depends on your activation method. If you are purchasing the policy from the Income website/hotline, then you have to pay premium through a card. On the other hand, if you purchased this policy by visiting an Income branch, you can make payments by cash, cheque, credit card, or NETS.

Q. Does Income provide a facility to renew my maid’s work permit?

A. Yes, if you choose to go for Plan 4, there is a provision for the renewal of your maid’s work permit.

Q. How soon will the policy be cancelled when my maid’s service is terminated?

A. The date of cancellation depends upon what type of plan you wish to cancel. If you had chosen Plan 2, it will be cancelled on the date Income receives your letter informing of the cancellation. However, for Plan 3 and Plan 4 the insurance will be cancelled only when Income receives the discharge letter from the Ministry of Manpower.

Q. Can I make changes to the policy after purchase?

A. Yes, you can make changes in the policy by just walking into any Income branch. The amendments will come in effect only after it is approved by the MOM.
