    ICBC Credit Card Statement

    One way to understand how you have used your credit card is to go through your credit card statement. Your statement provides you with a summary of all the transactions you have made for the current billing period. It also includes payment related information such as the amount that was paid the previous month, outstanding payments if any as well as the amount that needs to be paid for the current billing period.

    E-statements are electronic copies of your credit card statement that can be accessed through online banking or through email. If you are an ICBC cardholder, then you can receive your credit card statement by post or you could opt for an electronic copy of the same. The advantages that e-statements provide are that they can be accessed at any time, downloaded, and any statement for the last 3 months from the time of enrolment can be viewed. This service is especially useful if you want to keep tabs on your credit card spending.

    ICBC Messaging

    Your credit card statement is usually generated at the end of every month and can be viewed on the fifth day of the next month. ICBC Messaging is a service that tells you exactly when your e-statement can be viewed. By using this service, you can receive alerts through SMS or email. This facility is available to all registered internet banking customers. To activate these alerts, log in to your internet banking account and select “ICBC Messaging – Subscribe”.

    Opting for E-statement

    • Sign up for ICBC Personal Internet Banking.
    • Once you have signed up, log in and subscribe to the e-statement service.
    • If you hold a Peony Quasi Credit Card or a Dual-Currency Credit Card, then you don’t have to subscribe to e-statements separately since you will be automatically enrolled to receive them every month.

    If you don’t have an ICBC Internet Banking account, then you need to visit any branch office with your ID card and your completed application form.

    Viewing Digital Statement

    Your e-statement service starts from the day after you first subscribe for it using your internet banking facility. In the following month, you can also ask for your statement from the first month. This service is not charged and your statements are available 24 hours a day.

    If you spot any errors in your statement then you are required to notify the bank of the inaccuracy within 14 days of receiving your statement, failing which all transactions on your statement will be deemed to be accurate and will be binding. Queries regarding your transactions can also be cleared by using the Telephone Banking facility. You can do this by calling ICBC 95588, which is active throughout the day.
