    HSBC Credit Card Statement

HSBC provides you the option of viewing your statements online using the e-statements service. This is not only an easy-to-use feature, but it is also an environment-friendly option. The service provides you with statements delivered to your preferred email address, on time every month. Moreover, you have the convenience of keeping track of your spending digitally.

It is also considered more secure than printed statements. You don’t even need to use personal internet banking. All you need is a unique password and you’re ready to track your statement details. This service is applicable across all your current credit card accounts.

If you have two credit cards, you cannot opt for digital statements for one and paper statements for the other. If you have applied for digital statements it will apply across all your cards. Online statements will only be sent to you at the email address that’s registered with the bank and not to multiple email ids.

    Opting for E-statement

You can request for this service through any of the following means:

    • You can visit any of the branches and submit the completed hard copy of digital statement enrollment form.
    • You can also download the form for digital statements from the bank’s website.
    • If you’re registered with personal internet banking, you can opt for this service by visiting the “Credit Card e-statement Setup” page in the “Statements & Advices” section.
    • You can also call the customer centre on 1800 4722 669.

Remember that you cannot change the password that opens your e-statements.

    Opting for Hard Copy Statements

HSBC will stop sending you printed statements once you have opted for and registered with the electronic statements service. However, you can always opt out from this service and revert to the printed statements. You have to simply visit the website and fill in the “Credit Card email statements opt-out form” online. You have to enter your personal details, NRIC/Passport number, and card number in this form.
