    UOB Supplementary Cards

    Apply for a UOB supplementary card and enjoy an annual fee waiver at least for the first year. Additionally, you an also split the credit limit on your primary credit card to give as much or as little credit as you want to the supplementary cards. Supplementary cards will also enjoy similar benefits to those offered on the principal cards.

    UOB Credit Cards That Come With Supplementary Cards

    UOB offers Singaporeans a range of credit cards to choose from. The following is a list of all the cards that UOB currently offers with the option of applying for a supplementary card.

    For the UOB PRVI Miles Cards (Platinum Amex, Visa, World Mastercard), the first 2 supplementary cards are free of cost. For all the other cards, the first add-on card is free.

    All the annual fees mentioned above include the prevailing GST in Singapore.

    How a Supplementary Card Differs From the Primary Card

    A UOB supplementary card is the same as the primary card in most aspects. One of the differences is that the primary credit card member can set credit and spending limits on the add-on cards. Another difference is in the documents required for the two types of cards.

    The primary card application needs the following documents:

    Salaried employees:

    • Front & back copies of NRIC and
    • 3 months payslip (computerised) or
    • CPF contribution statement for 12 months or
    • Latest notice of income tax assessment.

    Commission-based employees:

    • Copies of NRIC (front & back) and
    • CPF contribution statement for the last 12 months or
    • 2 years’ notice of assessment of income tax.

    Self-employed individuals:

    • Front & back copies of NRIC and
    • 2 years’ notice of income tax assessment.

    Foreigners:

    • Along with the above documents, you also have to submit your
    • Employment pass (valid for at least 6 months), and
    • Passport copy (valid for a minimum of 6 months), and
    • Proof of billing containing your home address (local).

    The following are the document and eligibility requirements for applying for an additional card.

    Documents required:

    • Supplementary applicants who are Singapore citizens must provide front and back copies of their NRIC.
    • Permanent Resident supplementary applicants have to furnish copies of their passport having a minimum validity of 6 months.

    Age requirements:

    • The applicant must be at least 18 years old or more.
    • If the applicant is less than 18 years old, he/she must provide the letter of acceptance given by the institution abroad.
