    Redeem Your Rewards

    Miles can be redeemed at any of the 40 partner airlines of UOB, for reward vouchers or for cash credits. The cash earned can be used to offset your purchases or redeem for reward vouchers. To redeem –

    • Call the dedicated butler service if you want to redeem your earned miles for travel packages.
    • Visit the dedicated rewards page on the bank’s website, log in with your internet banking ID, and exchange the UNI$ for rewards of your choice.

    Let us assume that you charge S$24,000 worth of eligible local transactions to your card per year. Say you spend S$8,000 on overseas transactions. You also charge S$1,000 in hotel and airline ticket bookings through partner websites in a year.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Use

    • Yes, the magnetic stripe on the back of your card has to be activated if you wish to use your card at POS terminals overseas.
    • The magnetic stripe is, by default, kept in the deactivated state.
    • Don’t forget to deactivate the feature again on returning to Singapore.
    • This feature can be activated through any one of the following modes:
      1. Visit a UOB ATM.
      2. Visit a UOB branch.
      3. Call the bank’s dedicated hotline.
      4. Visit the dedicated page on the bank’s website to complete the process.
      5. Download the relevant form from the bank’s website and mail it to the bank after filling it out.

    Instalment Payment Plans

    UOB 0% IPP:

    • It’s an interest-free instalment plan.
    • Spread your big-ticket purchase into affordable and easily manageable instalments to lower your cost burden.
    • The purchase value shouldn’t be less than the minimum amount as determined by the bank from time to time.
    • The purchase price, divided into specific number of equal instalments, will be charged to your card account.
    • An administrative fee of S$100 will be levied if the plan is terminated prematurely or the card account is cancelled, in which case, any outstanding balance will also have to be settled.

    SmartPay:

    • Keep your bills affordable by converting your high-value purchases into small instalments.
    • Spread your payment into 3, 6, or 12 monthly instalments, as per your choice and convenience.
    • Apply in a convenient manner by doing any of the following:
      1. Filling out an online form.
      2. Using your personal internet banking ID.
      3. Using the bank’s SMS banking feature.
    • A one-time processing fee will be charged. It is:
      1. 3% for a 3-month plan.
      2. 3% for a 6-month plan.
      3. 5% for a 12-month plan.
    • The EIR applicable is:
      1. 18.18% p.a. for a 3-month plan.
      2. 10.43% p.a. for a 6-month plan.
      3. 9.5% p.a. for a 12-month plan.

    Cash Withdrawal on UOB PRVI Miles Visa Card

    • Up to 75% of the credit limit available on your card can be withdrawn.
    • This facility is not available on temporary credit limit increase.
    • Up to S$10,000 can be withdrawn per day from UOB ATMs with your card.
    • Choose a daily ATM withdrawal limit from the following options:
      1. S$1,000
      2. S$3,000
      3. S$5,000
      4. S$7,000
      5. S$10,000
    • The withdrawal limit can be changed through any one of the following modes:
      1. Via ATMs.
      2. By filling out a form at a UOB branch.
    • You can change back to the original cash withdrawal limit by following any one of the processes mentioned above.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    • Report the incident to the bank promptly.
    • File a police report and submit a copy of the same to the bank, if asked for.
    • Write a letter or make a statutory declaration following the prescribed format to confirm the incident and to provide other details asked for.
    • Your liability for unauthorised transactions charged to your card will be limited to S$100, provided:
      1. You weren’t deemed to be grossly negligent.
      2. You weren’t involved in the fraud, directly or otherwise, as per the bank’s assessment.
      3. You have notified the bank of the incident at the earliest.
    • The bank may decide to waive off yout S$100 fraud liability charge at its discretion.
    • Replacement cards will only be issued in Singapore. However, if you lose your card abroad, call the bank to apprise it of the incident.

    Use GIRO or Bill Pay Services

    To enable auto debit service for the bills linked to your credit card, you can opt for automatic bill payment service known as ‘Bill Pay’. To get this service:

    • Download the Payment Consent Form from UOB’s website.
    • Fill it and send via fax or mail to UOB.

    To pay the credit card balance, complete the interbank GIRO form available on the bank’s site and send it to UOB.

    How Much is the Minimum Payment to Be Made on the Card

    Every month, you need to pay at least 3% of bill amount or S$50 (whichever is higher). If there’s any overdue amount or over-limit amount from previous bills, that also must be paid.

    What Is the Grace Period?

    21 Days

    Every month you will get a grace period of 21 days from the statement generation date, only if the previous bill is paid in full payment. This grace period means that you won’t be charged any interest on the purchases made in the given month.
