    • Earn 3% cashback on foreign currency purchases online as well as on vPost transactions.
    • Earn 2% cashback on online purchases in Singapore dollars, as well as mobile amd contactless transactions.
    • Earn 1% cashback on all other retail purchases.
    • You can’t earn more than S$60 in cashback in a month. There is no minimum spending requirement.
    • The cashback you earn in any month will reflect in that same month’s statement. However, it will actually be credited to your card account in the following month and will offset that month’s billed amount.

    Activating the card for overseas expenses

    If you want to use your card overseas, you will have to get the magnetic stripe activated. This stripe is deactivated to ensure the protection of your card from unauthorised transactions. Without activating the magnetic stripe, you can use your card only at merchants using EMV terminals. But since some countries still don’t accept EMV chip, it’s best to get the magnetic stripe activated before you head overseas.

    The following ways can be used to activate the stripe for use in foreign countries:

    • Use the activation webpage on the bank’s website.
    • Send an SMS to 75722.

    Instalment payment plans available

    0% Interest Instalment Plan: Under this plan, you can convert your large credit card purchases into interest-free, monthly instalments. You get the flexibility to choose a tenure of up to 36 months. Also, when you sign up for this plan, you will continue to earn your cashback on all eligible purchases. All you have to do is ask for this plan at the participating merchant before you pay for your purchase.

    EasyPay: This plan allows you to convert all your retail purchases (worth at least S$500) into interest-free instalments of 6 or 12 months. You will, however, have to pay a one-time processing fee of 5% of the transaction amount. You can apply for EasyPay through online banking or by calling the 24/7 phone banking service.

    Cash Withdrawal on the Credit Card

    You can take cash advance with your card depending on your available credit limit. The interest on cash advance transactions is applicable starting from the date when you withdraw the amount until you repay in full.

    Lost/Stolen cards

    If you lose your card, or it gets stolen, or your PIN is compromised in some way, you must notify the bank immediately. You can call the bank at 24/7 hotline to report the incident. If there are any unauthorised charge made to your card before you report the incident to the bank, your liability for those transactions will be limited to S$100. However, you will have to prove that loss/theft was not a result of your negligence, or that you were not party to the fraud.
