    Earning Rewards

    • The details about how you can earn the points are given in the benefits table above.
    • You can earn 2 points per S$1 spent if you also open a current account with the bank. You must spend at least S$500 on retail purchases in a month to earn the extra rewards.
    • You will earn reward points on your deposit, investment, and mortgage accounts only if you are principal cardholder.
    • You can’t earn more than 5,000 points each on your savings/current account balance, fixed deposits, investments, and mortgage loan account, per month. Also, you must have an outstanding home loan of at least S$100,000 to qualify for reward points under that category.
    • Your reward points will be credited directly to your card account every month.

    Redeeming Your Earned Reward Points

    You can redeem your 360º Rewards Points for shopping vouchers, air miles, and for various other products from the Standard Chartered’s rewards catalogue. These reward points never expire. The converted miles can be used on Singapore Airlines, and will need to pay a conversion charge of S$25 per redemption.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    Yes, you need to activate the card for withdrawal of cash from overseas ATMs and for making point-of-sale magnetic stripe transactions. Without activation, you will be able to make transactions only at the merchants who accept EMV chip. However, as most of the countries are still using magnetic stripe terminals, it’s best to get your card activated when you are travelling overseas. This can be done in one of these ways:

    • Through SMS Banking OR
    • Through a dedicated page on the bank’s website.

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    0% Interest Instalment Plan

    With this plan, you can convert your credit card purchases into interest-free, monthly instalments. It allows you to choose a tenure of up to 36 months. There is no extra charge for choosing the plan. All you have to do is ask the participating merchant for this facility before paying through your card. Also, even when you make instalment purchases, you can continue to earn reward points.

    EasyPay

    This plan allows you to convert all your retail purchases worth at least S$500 into interest-free instalments of 6 or 12 months. However, you will have to pay one-time processing fee of 5% of the transaction amount. You can apply for EasyPay through internet banking and through 24-hour phone banking service.

    Cash Withdrawal on the Credit Card

    You can withdraw an amount depending on your available credit limit. The interest charges on such transactions are applicable from the date you withdraw the cash until the day you pay it back in full.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    In the event of loss/theft of your card, you must notify the bank as soon as possible. You can notify the bank by calling at their 24/7 hotline number. If there is any misuse of your card before you report the incident to the bank, your liability will be limited to S$100. However, you will have to prove that the loss/theft wasn’t a result of negligence on your part.

    Use the ACH or GIRO form

    Set up an automatic direct debit arrangement by filling up and submitting the GIRO or ACH form to the biller or Standard Chartered, depending on what payments you intend to automate with them.
