    Earn Rewards While Spending Online

    • You can earn and accumulate up to 120,000 OCBC$ in one year under the 10x rewards programme. There is no limit on how much you can earn with the 1x rewards plan.
    • After you accumulate 120,000 OCBC$, further eligible purchases under the 10x category will give you 1 OCBC$ for every S$1 you spend.
    • For all the purchases you make from outlets/categories not listed under the 10x rewards programme, you will earn 1 OCBC$ per S$1.
    • The OCBC$ earned on both basic and supplementary cards will be combined and credited to the basic cardholder’s account.
    • When you make a transaction which would give you 10 OCBC$, you will get 1 OCBC$ instantly in your account, while the remaining 9 OCBC$ will be credited by the latter half of the next month.
    • All bill and tax payments carried out using the card are excluded from the rewards programme. Only your retail purchases will be considered for the rewards programme. However, if you have used the card to pay for Ez-Link and TransitLink transactions, (except at general ticketing machines) OCBC will give you rewards points up to S$200, depending on the total amount you spent in a month on this.
    • The points you accumulate will expire after 2 years.

    Redeem Your Earned Rewards Points

    Your rewards points can be exchanged for product or service vouchers, cash credits or air miles. You can visit the catalogue on the OCBC website and select from the options available. You can get air miles, fuel vouchers, shopping vouchers and Titanium cash, among other things. Some examples are given below:

    Activating your Card for Overseas Use

    In case you are travelling overseas, you might want to activate the card for using it there. Since many countries use a magnetic strip to make transactions, you will have to activate the card for this kind of use. You can do this by the following methods:

    • Send an SMS to the dedicated number.
    • Use OCBC Online Banking.
    • Use OCBC Mobile Banking.
    • Visit for instant activation.

    Instalment Payment Plans

    0% Interest Instalment Plan:

    • When you make a huge purchase, you can divide the bill into monthly instalments that can be paid off over 6/12/24/36 months.
    • The plan is applicable only when you shop from partner merchants and for purchases of S$200 to S$500.
    • You will have to pay a cancellation fee of S$150 if you want to stop the instalment payments and clear the dues.
    • You will end up paying interest on purchases under this plan if you delay or skip monthly payments.


    • PayLite allows you to convert your retail spends of S$100 or more into instalments of up to 2 years.
    • A one-time administration fee depending on the amount of transaction.

    Cash Withdrawn On the Credit Card

    • The bank will allow you to withdraw an amount within your available credit limit. The withdrawal limit is 70% of your credit limit.
    • You can only withdraw S$1,000 at a go from an OCBC ATM, with a cap of S$20,000 per day.
    • The interest on cash advance is calculated from the next day itself.

    Card Is Lost/Stolen

    If you have lost your credit card, it is necessary to inform the bank as soon as possible. This will help prevent any unauthorised use. You can do this by calling the bank’s customer hotline or by writing to the bank. In some cases, you might have to file a police report about the incident. If it is proved that the loss was not due to your negligence, i.e. you have no liabilities, your liability will be limited to S$100.

    The minimum amount to pay every month is 3% of the outstanding balance or S$50, whichever is more. If your outstanding balance exceeds the credit limit on your card, the minimum amount payable will be 3% of the outstanding balance as well as the amount in excess of the credit limit.

    What Is the Grace Period?

    23 days

    The interest-free period that you enjoy is 23 days from the statement date. This is only applicable if there is no outstanding balance from previous statements.

    How to Reset the PIN?

    Submit the relevant form/Phone banking.

    To reset your credit card PIN, you will need to submit the ‘Services for Credit Card’ form to OCBC. Select the ‘Re-issue your Credit Card PIN’ option and mail the form to the bank using the business reply envelope. Your new PIN will be processed within 5 business days.
