Visa Credit Card is designed to give you rewards all through the year. If you spend at least S$500 within one month from when your card is approved, you will get a cash rebate of S$50 from the bank. To qualify for rewards such as 7% discount at Unity and Warehouse Club and FairPrice Stores, and 3% discount at FairPrice On, you need to spend at least S$500 on transactions outside of FairPrice. You can also get a discount of 3% at Popular and Cheers. The card also makes you eligible for fuel savings of up to 20.6% when you purchase petrol at Esso stations along with an 18% discount on fuel purchased from Caltex.

    Earning Rewards

    • Spend S$500 outside FairPrice and earn 2 LinkPoint from FP and 8.5 LinkPoints from OCBC. The amount must be spent in the same month as the Plus! In-Store purchases.
    • Earn 4.5 LinkPoints on charging at least S$500 to your card for out-store purchases in the same month as FP Online.
    • Earn 1 LinkPoint for every S$3 (0.33 LinkPoints for every S$1 spent) charged to your card out-store Visa transactions. This reward point will be given to you by the bank.

    Do I Have to Activate the Card for Overseas Use?

    Yes, you need to activate your OCBC credit card for overseas use. Your credit card uses a magnetic stripe which protects the card from being misused. The stripe remains inactive for overseas use as it is not widely accepted in countries except Korea, Japan, and USA.  Activate your card in the following ways:

    Instalment Payment Plans

    Make payments for large purchases in affordable monthly instalments at 0% interest with PayLite payment plan.

    • A one-time processing fee of 3% will be charged.

    Cash Withdrawn on Credit Card

    • With the cash advance facility, you can withdraw cash at any OCBC ATMs located in Singapore.
    • If you are in a foreign country, you can withdraw from any ATM with a MasterCard or a Visa logo.
    • The limit for overseas and local withdrawal is S$1,000, S$3,000, and S$5,000 or up to 70% of your available credit limit, capped at S$20,000 a day.

    Card Is Lost/Stolen

    In the event that you have lost your credit card, it has been stolen or illegally used, you must inform the bank by calling the customer service helpline. You may need to file a police complaint to confirm the same. Your maximum liability will be S$100 if you prove that the loss/theft/misuse was not due to your negligence.
