With the discovery of the loss/theft of the card, or if you have been forced to reveal your PIN to someone, you must notify the bank immediately. The bank will take steps to prevent misuse of the card. To do this, contact the bank’s 24x7 hotline number. You must also file a police report and submit all the necessary information to the bank.
If card transactions have taken place before you notified the bank, you will be liable for those transactions. If the bank finds you complicit in any fraudulent activity you may have to bear the entire cost. Otherwise, you’re not required to pay more than S$100.
