    Redeeming Your Earned Rewards

    • The conversion rate for products and services depends on which brand and product you choose, while that for air miles is 1,015 miles for 3,500 points.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    • New credit card that you receive will be not be active for overseas use unless you request for it. You need to separately enable/disable each of your cards for overseas use.
    • If you deactivate your credit card, you will not be able to withdraw cash from ATMs and make transactions through POS magnetic stripe transactions. You can activate the card for overseas use by the following means:

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    • Under the 0% Interest Instalment Plan, your bill of S$500 or more can be split into instalments of up to 3 years. This is zero-interest plan as long as you don’t delay payment of the instalments every month. You will earn 360° Rewards Points for all the purchases made under the instalment plan. This plan is applicable in case of selected partners only.
    • With EasyPay, you can convert your large purchase of at least S$500 into interest-free instalments for periods of 6 months or 12 months. You must pay a one-time fee of 5%. There are no restrictions on which outlets to use these at. Apply for this plan after the transaction through online or phone banking.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    With the discovery of the loss/theft of the card, or if you have been forced to reveal your PIN to someone, you must notify the bank immediately. The bank will take steps to prevent misuse of the card. To do this, contact the bank’s 24x7 hotline number. You must also file a police report and submit all the necessary information to the bank.

    If card transactions have taken place before you notified the bank, you will be liable for those transactions. If the bank finds you complicit in any fraudulent activity you may have to bear the entire cost. Otherwise, you’re not required to pay more than S$100.

    Automated Clearing House or GIRO payment

    To enable auto debit for NUS Alumni Card’s bill payments, you need to set up an Automated Clearing House or GIRO payment arrangement. Follow the steps mentioned below:

    • Get the direct debit authorisation form from your billing organisation or bank (can be found on the website).
    • Fill and submit the form to the billing organisation.

    Once your request is accepted, bills will be paid automatically without needing your intervention. Contact the bank or the billing organisation to cancel these standing instructions.
