    Earning Cash Rebates

    • Get a maximum cash rebate of S$30 in a quarter by spending S$300 in all the months of that quarter.
    • Get a maximum cash rebate of S$100 in a quarter by spending S$1,000 in all the months of that quarter.
    • Get a 0.3% rebate on any overseas spend. There is no minimum income criteria.
    • Cash rebates earned will be credited directly into the principal card account in the following month.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    • The magnetic stripe of your card has to be activated if you wish to use your card for POS transactions abroad.
    • By default, the card is maintained in a deactivated state for security reasons.
    • Follow the steps mentioned below to activate this feature:
      • Log in to your account and apply online.
      • Call the bank’s hotline.
      • Visit any of the bank’s branches in Singapore.

    Please note – You can follow the same steps to deactivate the card once you are back in Singapore.

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    Maybank offers three types of instalment payment options. They are:

    • FlexiPay: Convert your retail purchases of at least S$300 into affordable instalment plans with tenurses of 6, 12, or 24 months with no interest rate. This plan has a low processing fee and is valid even at stores that do not accept card payments.
    • 0% Instalment Payment Plan: Break down your retail purchases to interest-free instalment plans at more than 1,500 participating outlets. Spread out your repayments over a period of 6, 12, 24 and 36 months on spending a minimum of S$500.
    • Posh EzyPay: Convert your payment of S$500 and above at select luxury brand outlets into interest-free instalment plans. You have the option to choose a tenure of 3 or 6 months with a low administrative fee.

    Cash Withdrawal on the Credit Card

    The daily cash withdrawal limit can be increased to a maximum of S$10,000 temporarily using an exclusive online feature called SpeedLink.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    • Report the incident to the bank by calling their hotline or writing a detailed letter.
    • File a report with the police and submit a copy of the same to the bank, if asked to.
    • Your liability for unauthorised transactions made on your card will be limited to S$100, provided:
      • Your weren’t grossly negligent as per the bank’s assessment.
      • You weren’t involved in the fraud - directly or indirectly - as per the assessment of the bank.
      • You informed the bank of the incident within a reasonable period from the time of its occurrence.

    Find the Maybank Card Interbank GIRO form, fill it up and submit to the bank. You could also use Maybank2u.com.sg – Maybank’s online banking portal – to set up standing instructions for card bill payment.

    How to Apply for the Card & Check the Application Status

    At branch or online

    You can apply for the card online through the bank’s official site. You will need to provide your contact details, so the bank can get in touch with you.

    To know the status of your application, you can call the bank’s 24-hour hotline number and register your request. The bank will update the status of your card through an SMS.

    How to Check Balance

    You can subscribe to the monthly e-statements, log in to your online banking profile, contact phone banking, or register for SMART (SMS) alerts.

    How Can the Bill Be Paid?

    You can pay your card bill in various ways, such as cash at a Maybank branch or cash deposit machine, cheque, Interbank GIRO, Maybank ATMs, online banking, AXS stations, and SingPost SAM.

    How Much Is the Minimum Payment to Be Made on the Card?

    3% of the balance or S$20

    The minimum monthly payment would be 3% of the outstanding card balance plus any amount overdue from previous statements. The minimum payable amount is S$20. If you have borrowed in excess of your credit limit, you have to pay this excess amount as well along with the 3%.

    What Is the Grace Period?

    20 days

    Maybank gives you a grace period of 20 days to pay your new card charges. This means that if you pay the charges within these 20 days, you will not have to pay any interest. However, this is applicable only if your previous dues have all been cleared.

    Which Mobile Wallets Can This Be Used With?

    Samsung Pay

    You can use this card with Samsung Pay that uses technologies like Near Field Communication and Magnetic Secure Transmission to make contactless payments.

    Can It Be Used With EZ-Link?

    Yes

    Yes, it can be used with EZ-Link. You can link up to seven EZ-Link cards with this card to enjoy automatic top-ups. You can do this online. You will also earn TREAT points when you top-up your EZ-Link card with this card.

    If you have lost your card, or if the PIN is disclosed, you can get it blocked by calling the bank’s 24-hour hotline number or Phone Banking number. If you wish to get the card unblocked, reach out to the bank.
