    Earning Rewards

    Receive TREATS Points for every dollar you spend on retail transactions. For every dollar paid using your card on eligible purchases, you will earn 1 TREATS Point. These points are calculated based on the cost of retail transactions made on a daily basis.

    Instalment Payment Plans, interest charges, cash advance and various other charges are not taken into consideration when calculating TREATS Points.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    You will have to activate your Maybank credit card when you want to use it overseas. You can activate your card for overseas use in the following manner:

    • Online Banking
    • Contact the bank through phone, local and overseas numbers are available on the bank’s website.
    • Visit any of the Maybank Singapore branches.

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    With Maybank cards, you will get a 0% Instalment Payment Plan at more than 1,500 outlets. Here are the different features of this instalment plan:

    • Spread your payments over a period of 6, 12, 24 and 36 months.
    • Make a purchase of minimum S$500 to make use of this plan subject to the credit limit available.
    • Make purchases from participating merchants without having to pay interest.

    Cash Withdrawal on the Credit Card

    Your available cash advance balance and your credit limit will decide the quantity of cash that you can withdraw. Using the global network of Mastercard, you can withdraw money from numerous ATMs around the world.

    The daily withdrawal limit on your card can be temporarily increased to S$10,000 and can be reduced to a minimum limit of S$2,000 per day.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    You will be liable to pay only a maximum of S$100 for all fraudulent transactions done in case you lose your card or if it is stolen. However, if you fail to notify the bank immediately after you lose your card, you will be responsible for all fraudulent transactions.

    You are also supposed to file a complaint with the police and send a copy of the report to the bank. In case you find the card afterwards, you are not supposed to use it, but cut the card in half and send it back to the bank immediately. In addition, you are also supposed to write and send the bank a statutory declaration saying that the card has been lost or stolen.

    How Much Is the Minimum Payment to Be Made on the Card?

    You need to pay at least /3% of the outstanding balance on your statement or S$20, whichever is the greater amount. In addition to this, you will also have to repay any outstanding amount from previous statements.

    What Is the Grace Period?

    20 days

    The grace period – or interest-free period – is 20 days from the statement date. This interest-free period is available only if your previous bills are paid in full.

    How to Block or Unblock the Card

    Contact the bank through hotline

    In order to stop services on your card, notify Maybank immediately by calling their Customer Service Hotline or if you are a phone banking customer, then call their Phone Banking Hotline.

    If you have found a card that you thought was missing, you can unblock it by calling either of the hotlines as well.

    How to Reset the PIN


    Your credit card PIN can be changed via the following modes:

    • Via Maybank ATMs.
    • At any Maybank branch in Singapore.
    • By calling Maybank’s customer service number.
    • By completing and mailing the e-services form to Maybank.

    What Is the Billing Cycle and the Bill Due Date?

    You will receive your bill every month starting from the date of which your card was approved. If you have multiple cards with Maybank, then the bank will consolidate all your card statements into one and based on their discretion, will decide on a due date.
