    HSBC Revolution Credit Card Review

The HSBC Revolution Credit Card is an awesome rewards credit card that helps you collect points for transactions you are most likely to do on an everyday basis. The card gives you 5 Rewards Points per S$1 spent on local dining, entertainment, and online payments, and 1 point for all other purchases. The card also includes insurance premium payments, recurring online GIRO payments and transactions converted to instalment payment plans in the 5-point category, which is usually excluded by other credit cards.

The best part about this card is that there is no minimum spend requirement and no cap on the rewards points, so the more you spend, the more points you accumulate. However, the points are valid only for 3 years, and can be redeemed for vouchers, cash rebates, and air miles. If you want to convert the points into air miles, you need to register for the HSBC Frequent Flyer programme, and the rate of conversion is 2 miles per S$1.

If you’re looking for offers on the card, you can take advantage of the seasonal promotions, HSBC's Vacations travel discount plan, and discounted movie tickets through the HSBC Movie Card. Though this card does not give any travel or concierge perks, you get a discount of 25% on single-trip plans of the SmartTraveller Travel Insurance.
