    Earning Cash Rebate?

    • Get a cash rebate of 2% on travel bookings, and transactions in a foreign currency both overseas and online if you spend at least S$2,000 within a month.
    • Get 1% base cash rebate for all other spends, including those converted to 0% instalment payment plan. There is no minimum spend requirement to earn the base rate.
    • The 2% rebate is credited in the form of an extra 1% rebate above the base 1%.
    • There is no cap on how much cash rebate you can earn through this card.
    • Use your cash rebates to offset your credit card bill.

    Who All Will Be Covered by the Insurance?

    • You, the cardholder.
    • Your spouse. You and your spouse should not be younger than 21 or older than 75.
    • One dependent child. The dependant child should be aged below 21, or below 25 if he/she is still studying in a reputed institution, and should neither be married nor employed.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    • Activate the magnetic stripe of your card if you want to use it to make transactions overseas.
    • Activate your card by:
      • Calling the bank’s 24-hour credit card hotline.
      • Sending an SMS to the bank.
    • You’re recommended to deactivate the magnetic stripe of your card as soon as you return to Singapore.

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    • Convert a big-ticket purchase into small, manageable instalments with CIMB’s interest-free instalment payment plan known as 0% i.Pay Plan.
    • Spread your payment over 5, 10, or 20 months.
    • A one-time processing fee will apply. It is:
      • 3% for the 5-month and 10-month tenures.
      • 5% for the 20-month tenure.
    • The effective interest rates are:
      • 12% for the 5-month tenure.
      • 6.55% for the 10-month tenure.
      • 5.71% p.a. for the 20-month tenure.
    • Decide whether to convert a transaction to the 0% i.Pay Plan after it has been made.
    • Your purchase should be valued at least S$500 per receipt for 5- and 10-month plans, and worth S$1,000 each transaction for the 20-month plan.
    • No more than S$30,000 can be converted into instalments.
    • Call the 24x7 card hotline for enrolling for this plan.

    Cash Withdrawal on the Credit Card

    • Take out cash using your CIMB credit card from bank ATMs in different branches in Singapore or from Visa/Plus or Mastercard/Cirrus ATMs abroad, if you need excess cash.
    • Get a PIN to make this possible.
    • The withdrawal amount depends on your pre-set daily cash withdrawal limit, the ATM limit, or your available credit limit – whichever is lower.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    • Inform the bank immediately.
    • File a police complaint and submit a report to the bank, if asked for.
    • Your liability for unauthorised transactions won’t be more than S$100, provided:
      • You have not failed to inform the bank about the loss or theft of the card within a reasonable period from the time of the incident.
      • You have not been totally neglectful.
      • You have not acted in a fraudulent manner.

    How Much Is the Minimum Payment to Be Made on the Card?

    3% of the Outstanding Balance or Min S$50

    The minimum payment you can make per month is 3% of the balance amount or S$50, whichever is higher.

    For instance, if your outstanding balance is S$500, then your minimum amount due is S$15 (3/100 x S$500). But, you have to pay S$50 as this amount is higher.

    What Is the Grace Period?

    23 Days

    The interest-free period for this card is 23 days from the statement of the account. The grace period is offered provided there is no balance carry forwarded from the past months.

    Can It Be Used With EZ-Link?

    Yes

    Yes, you can link your card with EZ-Link. However, you will not earn any rewards on such transactions.

    How to Block or Unblock the Card?

    Call CIMB Hotline

    If you discover any illegal activities on your card or if you have lost your credit card, you must block it immediately by calling the customer care hotline.

    If the bank has blocked your card by mistake, then you can call the same hotline to unblock it.

    How to Reset the PIN?

    Through CIMB ATMs/Bank Branches/Submit Form to Bank

    • Download the Credit Card Account Maintenance Form, complete it, and mail it to the bank in the business reply envelope.
    • You will receive a confirmation mail with your new PIN.
    • It takes 7 working days for the request to get processed.
    • Reset PIN at a CIMB ATM or bank branch.

    What Is the Billing Cycle and the Bill Due Date?

    You will get your statement of accounts only on a monthly basis. The billing cycle starts from the date your card was issued. The due date will be mentioned in your statement.

    How to Get a Replacement Card?

    • Submit the Credit Card Account Maintenance Form in the business reply envelope.
    • Pay a fee of S$20 for the new card.
    • It takes 7 working days to process your application.

    How to Temporarily Increase the Limit of the Card?

    • Submit the Temporary Credit Limit Increase Form to the bank.
    • This request can be made only for funeral arrangements, hospitalisation, weddings, and travel and medical expenses.
