    Earning Rewards

    Redeeming Earned Reward Points/Cash Rebate?

    To redeem your rewards points, you will have to follow the steps given below:

    1. Visit the rewards page on the Standard Chartered website.
    2. When redeeming the points for the first time, register using your card information.
    3. Log in and look for rewards by product name or brand.
    4. Select your rewards, mention the amount and add to cart.
    5. Checkout after finalising your order.

    On the Points Summary section, you can check how many rewards points you have. You will receive a voucher for every redemption.

    Choose whatever you want from the various rewards available in the rewards catalogue. You will be charged a fee of S$10 for every 100,000 points transferred if you wish to transfer your points to a nominee.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    Activation of the card is compulsory if you are going abroad and intend to use it to make purchases. Here are the two ways by which you can activate the card:

    • Use your registered mobile number to send an SMS to the bank.
    • Visit the bank’s website and activate your card online for overseas use.
    • Use the bank’s mobile application known as SC Mobile for activation.

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    Choose from the following instalment payment plans to enjoy interest-free payments:

    • EasyPay: Convert retail purchases of at least S$500 into 6- or 12-month instalments. A one-time service fee (5%) will be applicable per conversion.
    • 0% Interest Instalment Plan: Sign up for this plan at no extra charge for a tenure of up to 36 months and continue earning reward points on purchases converted to this plan.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    You must safeguard your credit card at all times. However, in case you lose your card, if the PIN is disclosed to someone else or if your card is stolen, you are obligated to inform the bank immediately about it and file a police complaint. You can inform the bank by calling their toll free number for local calls and customer service number for overseas calls.

    Your maximum liability will be S$100 for unauthorised transactions before informing the bank, upon discovery that the loss, theft or disclosure was not on account of your negligence.

    How to Enable/Disable Auto Debit & Standing Instructions

    Through GIRO/ACH direct debit form

    Standard Chartered allows you to set up GIRO/automated clearing house (ACH) direct debit for payment of credit card and other utility bills. You can set up this service by following the steps given below:

    • Ask for a direct debit authorisation form from your billing organisation or download it from the bank’s official website.
    • Submit the completed form to the bank/billing company for approval.
    • After your application is approved, your direct debit instruction will be set up. The dates on which deductions are made will be given to you by the service provider or the bank, as the case may be.

    You can either get in touch with the bank or the billing organisation when you need assistance in cancelling your standing instruction.

    You can apply for Standard Chartered Business Platinum Card in 2 ways:

    • Complete the Standard Chartered Credit Card Application Form and send it to your nearest bank branch along with the mandatory documents.

    You have to pay at least 1% of your outstanding balance amount, subject to a minimum of S$50. Any kind of dues from your previous billing cycles (over-limit fee, interest charges, and pending dues) will also have to be settled.

    What Is the Grace Period?

    22 days

    You will get an interest-free period of 22 days. You’ll qualify for a grace period only if you have fully paid your previous credit card bills. You are not eligible for an interest-free period if you make partial payments.
