This includes merchants offering deals in various categories such as entertainment, shopping, travel, dining, and hotel bookings. The next time you’re in China, make use of these deals to get the best rates and exclusive benefits at these merchant outlets. If you’re using your card to pay for your purchases and transactions in China, you’re in luck. UnionPay is the has the widest network coverage in this country and this card allows you to pay at more than 2.4 million terminals here. You can also withdraw cash in Renminbi from more than 200,000 ATMs in the country, giving you access to cash as you travel through the length and breadth of this nation.

You can convert your larger payments (minimum of S$500) into smaller ones spread out over a period of 3 to 18 months. This instalment facility does not charge you any interest either, helping you have better control over your payments and giving your greater financial flexibility. Do keep in mind that a processing fee of 2% applies to this facility. The card also features a facility that allows you to transfer money to any bank account, credit card, or credit line you have, without interest, for a period of 3 to 6 months. You also get to enjoy the instant cash facility through which you can get money right away by simply calling the specified number. Terms and conditions will, of course, apply. If you need a higher credit limit, you can make use of MoneyPlus which is a personal line of credit. Through Tele-Banking/Customer Service HotlineIf you are a registered tele-banking user, then you can reset your 6-digit PIN via this facility. If you aren’t a registered tele-banking member, then call BOC’s customer service hotline to reset your PIN. |
What Is the Billing Cycle and the Bill Due Date? |
1 MonthYou will receive your credit card statement Every month form the date of which your application was approved. If you opt for e-statements, then you will be able to view your bill 7 working days prior to your statement date. The due date by which the minimum or the complete payment must be made will be reflected on your statement. Any payments made post this date will be charged a late fee. |
How to Get a Replacement Card? |
The bank, will at its discretion provide you with replacement cards if your current card expires. In case of loss or theft of your card, you will be issued with a replacement card once you call the 24-hour customer service hotline. |
How to Temporarily Increase the Limit of the Card |
The bank offers a permanent increase of your credit limit for up to 2x your monthly salary. However, you will be required to submit an application along with your income proof documents for the same. |
