The BOC Family Card is a credit card that is specially designed to help you pay for your family’s shopping needs in a convenient and easy manner. It helps you earn rewards as you spend for a variety of expenses including everyday household needs, eating out at restaurants, spending on health and wellness, and on entertainment options such as movies and more. The card gives you cash rebates of 10% on dining, 10% on movies, 5% on purchases you make online, and 5% on hospital bills, supermarket purchases, telco bills, Auto Top-up (NETS FlashPay), and spends at selected merchant outlets. On all other purchases (retail), you are eligible to get a cash rebate of 0.3%. To get these rates of rewards, you have to spend a minimum of S$700 every month on the card. If you don’t spend the minimum required amount every month on this card, you will earn a base cash rebate rate of 0.3% on all retail spends.

It gives you a cash rebate of 10% on food bills at all the specified cafes, fast food outlets, and restaurants on the island. This, however, does not apply to food & beverages you buy inside hotels, and on wedding banquets that take place inside hotels.
This card rewards you with 10% cash rebates when you use it to pay for movie tickets at all theatres in Singapore that come under the “Motion Picture Theatres” category. The maximum amount of rewards you can accumulate for both movies and dining together is S$30 every month (every billing cycle).
Online shopping has caught on in a big way all over the world. And if you too love the comfort and ease of buying the things you need without getting up from your chair at home, you can get rewarded for it as well. The BOC Family Card rewards you with cash rebates of 5% every time you use it to pay for your online transactions. This applies to all retail purchases you make on the internet using this card. The maximum rebate you can accumulate every month for online shopping is S$30.
Use this card to pay for spends at these institutions and you are eligible to get a cash rebate of 5% at each of them. This applies to bills that you pay at hospitals (on-site), purchases made at supermarkets, hypermarkets, and grocery stores, and other selected merchants that include specific stores dealing with home furnishings, furniture, electronics, drugs and pharmaceuticals, books, toys, and more. You also get the same rate of rewards when you make top-ups (automatic) on the NETS FlashPay feature that is charged to this card. This applies to a maximum of 4 top-ups for each card account, for every billing cycle. The 5% rebate is also available when you pay telecommunication bills from major telco companies in the country.
All other retail purchases you make on this card (ones that are not covered in the categories given above), you get a rebate of 0.3%. The amount of rebate you can accumulate under this reward category is limited to S$40 per month.
If you get a supplementary card and spend at least S$200 (aggregate spend) on it in one billing cycle, you will get an extra 2% rebate on other spends, excluding the spend categories that are already mentioned in the other categories. The maximum cash rebate you can earn per billing cycle under this category is S$20 for each card.
