    Earning Rewards

    • Get 3.3 KrisFlyer miles for all the rides booked through Uber and Grab mobile applications for up to S$200 each month. Top-ups on GrabPay and transactions made for UberEats will also fetch you KrisFlyer miles.
    • Get two KrisFlyer miles per S$1 on all valid purchases made through the SingaporeAir mobile application,,, and KrisShop. There is no cap on this.
    • Get 1.3 KrisFlyer miles for each local currency equivalent of S$1 up to S$3,800 for transactions made overseas. Get 2.4 KrisFlyer miles per dollar if you spend over S$3,800 while overseas.

    Let Us Illustrate:

    • Assume that you spend S$1,000 every month in Singapore. So, the total spending in Singapore will be S$12,000 each year. On this, you will earn 15,600 KrisFlyer Miles (12,000 x 1.3).
    • You spend S$2,000 overseas every month. Your total annual spend outside Singapore is S$24,000. On this amount, you will earn 31,200 KrisFlyer Miles (24,000 x 1.3).
    • You also spend S$15,000 annually on and That gives you another 30,000 KrisFlyer Miles (15,000 x 2).

    If you add up all these, you will earn a total of 81,800 KrisFlyer Miles in a year. Now, depending on the date and time of your travel, you can opt either Saver or Advantage awards. Saver awards require fewer KrisFlyer Miles but your chances of getting a seat are low. In contrast, Advantage awards require more KrisFlyer Miles but you are more likely to get a seat.

    Interest Rates

    For all retail purchases made using this card, you will be charged an annual interest rate of 25.90%. This interest will be compounded if you have not paid your bill amount in full. If you have failed to make your payments thrice or have any unpaid amount for at least two months in the last one year, then the interest rate will be raised to 29.99% p.a. which will be applicable for the next 12 months.

    Activating the Card for Overseas Expenses

    Instalment Payment Plans Available

    Things to know are:

    • Purchases worth S$250 or more made at participating outlets can be converted to smaller monthly instalments under Pay Small, the instalment payment plan.
    • The amount can be split over 6, 12, 18 or 24 months.
    • No interest is payable if the monthly instalment dues are cleared in full.
    • No Krisflyer miles will be awarded for transactions made in relation to Pay Small.

    Cash Withdrawal on the Credit Card

    • Get up to USD1,000 at over 200,000 ATMs across the world affiliated to American Express.
    • This facility can be used only once in two weeks.
    • Up to a maximum of 20% of your credit limit can be withdrawn. However, withdrawal would depend on your actual credit availability.

    To enrol in this programme, you have to:

    • Download the Express Cash Enrolment Form.
    • Fill it up.
    • Send to American Express.

    A transaction fee of 5% for all cash withdrawals and a 1% commission charge for purchasing American Express Travellers Cheques will be charged.

    Lost/Stolen Cards

    If your card is lost, stolen, or misplaced, you must:

    • Inform the bank immediately by calling its hotline.
    • Lodge a complaint with the police and provide American Express with a copy of the report, wherever required.

    Liability for unauthorised transactions on your card will be limited to S$100, provided:

    • You have reported the incident to the bank within a reasonable period from the time of detection of the security breach.
    • It is proven that you were not complicit in the fraud.
