If you wish to apply for the Citibank Grocery Credit Cards, all you have to do is visit the Citibank SIngapore website and place an online request for the credit card of your choice by filling out the online application form.
You will also need to upload your supporting documents – your proof of identity, proof of income, and proof of residence. Once that’s done, an executive from the bank will get in touch with you and help you complete the remainder of your application.
The bank will review your application against various parameters, most importantly your credit history and your credit score. If your credit profile meets the bank’s internal credit norms, your application will be approved.
Once your application is approved, the bank will dispatch your credit card and you can expect to receive your credit card in about 7 to 10 business days.
If you wish to cancel a grocery credit card, you will need to contact the bank’s hotline number and inform the bank about your intention to cancel your card.
If you’ve lost your credit card or if your credit card has been stolen, you will need to immediately contact the back and report it. Any unauthorised transaction taking place on your card will be investigated seriously as you will be liable for penalty if you’ve acted in gross negligence. You will also face action if you’ve acted fraudulently. The simplest way is to block your credit card immediately after you figure out that your card has been stolen or you’ve lost it.
