    Citibank Credit Card Hotline Numbers(Card Wise)

    Some credit cards offered by Citibank merit their own hotline numbers. Those cards and their corresponding hotline numbers are:

    Citibank Credit Card Customer Support

    • Email: Citibank employs a Secured Email portal using which any cardholder can reach customer support:
      • Customers can login to Citibank Online with their username, password.

      • Type their OTP when prompted.
      • Choose type of query, compose the message and click “Send”.
      • Citibank customer care executives will reply via Secured Message/call the customer within 72 hours.

    Applicants can apply for a Citibank credit card online via the Citibank website.

    • Select the card to apply for.
    • Fill in contact details, personal details, employment, preferred card options.
    • Review and submit the application after confirmation.

    Citibank Credit Card Activation

    Citibank credit card activation for using in singapore

    • Online Activation (Citibank Online):
      • Cardholders can login using their user ID, password.
      • Click on “Services” and move on to “My Profile”.
      • Select “Card Activation” and follow the instructions.
      • Enter the OTP from their OSD or Online Security Device. Alternatively, they can ask for an OTP to be sent via SMS.
      • Click on “Continue” to activate the card.
    • App Activation (Citi Mobile App):
      • Cardholders should login with their user ID, password.
      • Click on the menu bar on the side and select “Card Activation”.
      • Enter the OTP from their OSD or Online Security Device. Alternatively, they can ask for an OTP to be sent via SMS.
      • Click on “Continue”.
      • Select “Use in Singapore” and the card that they want to activate.
    • SMS Activation: Cardholders can send an SMS from their registered mobile numbers to activate their new cards. To activate, cardmembers need to,
      • Type “ACT<Card’s last four digits>” and send to 72484.
      • If overseas, send the SMS to +65 9657 2484.
      • The card gets activated immediately and Citibank sends a confirmation SMS for the same.
    • Activation via Credit Card Hotline (Self-service Phone Banking):
      • Cardholders need to call the card activation hotline number at 6334 2484.
      • On prompt, enter their NRIC/card number.
      • Follow the instruction from the interactive voice response to complete activation process.

    Citibank Credit Card Activation for Overseas use:

    • Citibank Activation (Citibank Online):
      • Cardholders can login using their user ID, password.
      • Click on “Services” and move on to “Overseas Card Activation”.
      • Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
      • Enter the OTP from their OSD or Online Security Device. Alternatively, they can ask for an OTP to be sent via SMS.
      • Click on “Continue” to activate the card.
    • App Activation (Citi Mobile):
      • Cardholders should follow the same procedure as App Activation for new cards upto step 4.
      • Then select “Overseas Use” option.
      • Click on the credit card that needs to be activated.
    • SMS Activation: Cardholders can send an SMS from their registered mobile numbers to activate their cards for overseas use. Cardmembers need to,
      • For permanent activation: Type “ACTOS<Card’s last 4 digits>” and send it to 72484.
      • If overseas, they need to send it to +65 9657 2484.
      • For overseas use for a limited period: Type “ACTOS<Card’s last 4 digits>”, and SMS it to 72484.
      • If overseas, send it to +65 9657 2484.
      • The card gets activated for overseas use from the date the SMS is sent.
    • Activation via Credit Card Hotline (Self-service Phone Banking):
      • Cardholders can call the phone banking hotline number at +65 6225 5225.
      • Key in their NRIC, credit card number or their customer number of 10 digits.
      • From the Main Menu, choose option 2.
      • Then choose option 4 to activate or deactivate the card for overseas usage.
      • Follow the instructions given by the interactive voice and key in the requested details.
      • Cardholders can decide to activate the card permanently or for a limited period, or just deactivate overseas function.

    Citibank Credit Card Cancellation

    To report a lost/stolen credit card: Cardholders can call at the customer care number 6225 5225 any time to report the loss of their card to Citibank.

    To cancel an existing credit card: To close an existing credit card account, Citibank cardholders need to SMS the following text to 72484 - “Closure last 8 digits of the credit card number”.

    Bill Dispute: To register any complaints/disputes on their credit card charge, cardholders can contact the Citibank 24x7 Customer Service Hotline at 6225 5225.

    Cardholders also have to download a “Cardholder’s Letter of Dispute” Form from Citibank’s website, fill up the form and submit it via one of the following channels:
