    CIMB Platinum Mastercard

    • Cash rebate: CIMB Platinum Mastercard offers 10% cash rebate (you can earn maximum S$60 per month) on travel, wellness, health, and beauty transactions. To be eligible to earn a cash rebate of 10%, you need to spend at least S$500 in a month, including at least eight transactions of S$30 or more. Once you reach the S$60 cap, you will earn a cash rebate of 0.2% on all expenses (no monthly cap).
    • Foreign currency transaction fee: With this card, you will be saved from paying the bank’s admin fee on payments made in a foreign currency. So, if shopping at a foreign destination is on your list, this is the card to go for.

    Eligibility criteria

    Minimum age:

    • For principal card, you should be at least 21 years old.
    • For supplementary card, you should be minimum 18 years old.

    Minimum income:

    • For Singaporeans or Singapore PRs (below 55 years of age), the minimum annual income should be S$30,000. Those aged 55 and above are required to have an annual income of at least S$15,000.
    • Individuals who are not able to satisfy the income criteria can also apply for the card by submitting a fixed deposit pledge of at least S$10,000.

    • Salaried individuals:
      • Copy of NRIC
      • Latest computerised salary slip
      • Latest 12-month statement of CPF contributions/most recent Income Tax Bill
    • Self-employed individuals:
      • Copy of NRIC
      • Tax Bill sent by the IRAS for last two years
      • Bank statement for the last three months
    • Individuals with variable income:
      • Copy of NRIC
      • Tax Bill sent by the IRAS for last two years/last 12 months’ CPF statement

    How to apply

    You can apply for a CIMB Lifestyle Credit Card online easily. All you have to do is fill out your personal information, submit a declaration, upload the required documents, and confirm your details. CIMB promises same-day approval if you submit your completed application form and supporting documents before 12:00 p.m., from Monday through Friday. You can also choose to have the bank contact you for application work. Just leave your contact details on the website.

    How to cancel

    To cancel your CIMB Lifestyle Card, you can call the CIMB credit card hotline at any time of the day. You can also visit any nearest branch of the bank to raise your card cancellation request. Before your card is cancelled, make sure there are no outstanding dues. Upon cancellation, it’s best to properly dispose of the card to avoid any misuse.
