    Customers can purchase a single trip policy or an annual multi-trip policy depending on their travel requirements. The maximum number of days allowed for a single trip policy is 183 days per trip. Annual policies include a maximum of 90 days per trip for an unlimited number of trips throughout the year.

    Single Trip

    • Any individual over the age of 18 can avail a single trip policy.
    • The insured’s family with any number of children can also be included under this scheme. It is not mandatory for the insured adults to be related but it is required for the children to be related to one of the adults.
    • A group policy can also be taken if required with more than one individual being over the age of 18. The maximum number of members allowed in the group is 9.

    Annual - Multi-trip policy

    • Any individual over the age of 18 can avail an annual policy.
    • The insured’s family must consist of two married adults and any number of children. An insured adult must always accompany a child while travelling.
    • A group policy can also be taken if required with more than one individual being over the age of 18. The maximum number of members allowed in the group is 9.

    Exclusions

    • Damages due to acts of war.
    • Loss or damages caused due to ionizing radiations or radioactive contamination.
    • Voluntary infliction of injuries and suicide attempts.
    • Any insured person acting as a law enforcement officer, military personnel, emergency medical or fire service personnel or civil defence personnel.
    • Injuries due to participation in professional and extreme sporting activities.
    • Any condition arising from infections due to HIV, AIDS and AIDS related complications.
    • Any condition arising from complications during pregnancy or childbirth.
    • Illegal acts done by the insured or their legal representatives.
    • Other than being a fare paying passenger, damages arising due to the insured’s involvement in any other type of aviation activity.
    • Any condition arising from the insured performing a journey against the instructions of a physician.
    • Pre-existing conditions.
    • Any breach of government regulation by the insured leading to a claim.
    • Nervous and Mental disorders
    • Injuries resulting from the insured being involved in naval, air force or military operations, diving, oil-rigging or mining.
    • Any condition arising from complications of a venereal disease.
    • Any loss arising from the insured undertaking any travel on the advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore or the Ministry of Health of Singapore during emergencies involving wars and other man-made or natural calamities.

    Eligibility of ACE Travel Insurance

    • Individuals should be Singapore citizens or permanent residents above the age of 18. Foreigners with valid work permits, employment passes, student passes, dependent passes or long-term social visit passes are eligible to avail travel insurance protection from ACE.
    • If children are included in the family plan then they need to be stepchildren and legally adopted children who are unemployed and unmarried and are Singapore citizens.
